Policy Innovation Centre
Based in Nairobi, Kenya, at Strathmore University, the Microsoft Policy Innovation Centre is a facility that consists of a bespoke Policy Innovation Centre kitted out with Microsoft's Office 365 product solutions and a Microsoft Auditorium.
The Policy Innovation Centre can host up to 36 people, and while designed for more intimate discussions, it possesses full audio-visual capabilities to enhance cross boarder collaboration. The Auditorium has a capacity of 180 people and is ideal for larger events such as lectures and conferences.
The Policy Innovation Centre serves as a Centre that fosters collaboration and discussions premised on policy issues that affect society. The Centre attracts stakeholders from different sectors including: Academia, the Public Sector and the Private Sector who converge and engage in policy discussions that encompass the use of technology in different sectors of Industry and Business to advance societal development in an efficient, scalable and productive manner.
Discussions at the PIC shall focus on key sectors which include: the Justice Sector, the Health sector, Agriculture, Education, Financial Services, Data protection and Privacy.
